Capital City Carboys
The Ben Hur Shrine Capital City Carboys are the homebrew unit at Ben Hur. We were established as a unit on April 24, 2017. Currently we are brewing beer and competing in cornhole (beanbag toss) tournaments. We have plans to expand into making soda and wine in the near future. We are a unit but we encourage members to bring friends and family to our meetings, brew days, and events.
There is something in this unit for everyone! We need folks to brew, drink, judge, play cornhole, cook food for the brewers, plan our outings/parties/education nights at various microbreweries and supply houses. If you want to have a good time this is the unit for you!
This unit was created to focus on FUN and fellowship. If you would like more information or are interested in joining us please contact one of the officers below or drop by one of our stated meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30pm in the Blue Room at Ben Hur.
