Texas Shrine Association 2009
Shriners from the 13 Texas Shrine Temples gathered in Wichita Falls to partipate
in events during the Texas Shrine Association Ceremonial Session (TSA). This was also
a time to spend time with family while renewing friendships with Shriners from across
our great State.
Many members of Ben Hur enjoyed themselves as they enjoyed hospitality provided by the
2009 Entertainement Committee at the Hawthorn Suites. What a wonderful job, Glenn and
his crew did. From the libations to the pool side dining, Glenn Dyess and his crew went
out of their way to make our stays more enjoyable.
Ben Hur captured the following awards:
Golf - Individual Low Net - Flight B - Gene Payne
Marching Patrol - Class A - 2nd Place
Provost Guard - B Team - 1st Place
Provost Guard - D Team - 2nd Place
Provost Guard - High Over 60 - Bobby Tiner
Provost Guard - High Marshal - Frank Reyes
Other notable Ben Hur showings were:
Clown Skit - Stage Coach
Director's Staff - Cold Stunt
Golf Team
The following Ben Hur Nobles were installed as Association Presidents:
Clowns (TSCA) - Sam "Lucky" Taylor
Patrol (TSPA) - Max Stone
